If you’ve done any internet searches on how to burn fat, you will no doubt have come across Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto. This is a 300 + page digital book which presents all of the facts on the best way to lose body fat. This ebook is actually one of the biggest selling ebooks on any subject in the history of the internet, so you must feel it’s worth a look.

  

The focus of Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is not weight loss, but body fat loss. The author is an expert in the fields of fat loss and bodybuilding, and you can be sure that this isn’t just another ‘magic bullet’ cure for all your weight loss woes. This is a proper piece of research on the subject of losing body fat, and leaves no stone unturned in its mission to supply you with everything you need to know in order to meet your fat loss goals.

 

Early in the book, the author makes it clear that the goal is Fat Loss, as opposed to weight loss. The first three chapters cover this in detail, and explain why you should be targeting fat loss, and how to go about it. Basically, your weight includes muscle, water, and other lean tissue, so any weight loss program consisting of diet only will probably be causing you to lose muscle mass. You don’t want to lose muscle, as this will have the effect of slowing your metabolism, which will mean you burn calories slower than you normally would.

 

There are hundreds of myths and fallacies surrounding the subject of fat loss. Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle delves into those lies and does a great job in dispelling them. The amount of detail in this book means you will learn an awful lot about fat loss and how to achieve it. This book is really the only resource you will need to learn about fat loss.

 

BTFFTM covers a lot of areas, dispelling myths common amongst the weight loss community. Topics covered in great detail include why you should target fat loss rather than weight loss, meal frequency, how much protein you need, water consumption, dietary supplements, cardio training, and weight training. Basically this is an all encompassing guide to everything you need to know to achieve your goal of having a great body.

 

One aspect of BTFFTM which I was interested in was the section on alcohol. Most of us like the odd beer or glass of wine, so it was interesting to read about what alcohol does to your body in relation to your fat loss goal. Once you read this section you really will cut down on your alcohol consumption!
