One thing that every weight lifter wants to do is build muscle mass.  It doesn't matter if this is your first in the gym or if you have been doing this your entire life, putting on muscle is important to any weightlifter.  It not only helps us to measure our progress, it motivates us to keep going whenever we see the muscles developing in the mirror.  If you have been doing this for some time, how are you going to build additional muscle on your frame?  If you're just now starting out, how long will it take you to build this muscle and recognize differences in your body? One thing you might want to do is check out the Muscle Gain Truth program, which offers a complete system on how to build solid muscle. Visit the website HERE.

For those that have been weightlifting for quite some time, one of the worst enemies that you can have is becoming stagnant in your routine.  Most of us enjoy doing one particular thing in the gym.  It could be the bench press or perhaps curls but there is something that we enjoy doing on a regular basis.  The problem with this is that it doesn't shock your muscles into developing any new growth because they simply get used to that particular motion.  If you want to build additional muscle you should change up your routine every six weeks.  Don't worry about getting back your favorite exercise, you can switch back to it every other time you change your routine.

If you are just now starting on the gym, I'm sure that you are curious how long it will take you to build muscle muscle in your body.  It might be that you really do not have any developed muscles to speak of and you might be somewhat intimidated by those who have been at the gym for quite some time.  Don't worry about it, all of us had to start out somewhere and if you just stick with it for a month or two you will begin to notice changes in your body that you never thought were possible.  The best thing that you can do for yourself is to get a personal trainer and to allow them to give you instruction on the best way to pack muscle onto your body.

One thing that is universal and is true for both those that have been weightlifting for quite some time and those that are just starting out is diet.  I know that it is probably the last thing that you want to hear but if you're not feeding your muscles properly you will not notice the type of growth that you may want.  In order to build muscle mass, you must feed your muscles with a steady diet of high-protein and the proper combination of carbohydrates and fats.  Not only will this help your muscles to grow, it will also help you to keep off some of the body fat that may have developed on you otherwise.  If you really pay attention to your routine and diet you would start to build muscle mass and see the changes in your body in a short period of time.
