Of all of the different things I hear as far as weightlifting is concerned, the most frequent has got to be, how do I build muscle fast?
In fact, this particular question is asked by people that are new to weightlifting and also people that have been doing it for quite some
time. The fact of the matter is, it is difficult to build muscle quickly but not impossible. Depending on your personal
circumstances, there are a few things that you're going to need to do in order to pack the muscle on rather quickly. You're going to have
to eat properly, exercise properly and get plenty of rest.
The first thing that you are going to need to do, and probably the most difficult thing to stick with is eating a proper diet. Most
people get kind of sloppy with the things that they eat but if you want to pack on muscle in a hurry, you're going to have to eat the proper
kinds of food at the right time. You cannot expect your body to grow without being nourished properly. The best way to be able to do
this is to eat a high protein diet with the right balance of carbohydrates and fats. You're also going to have to feed your body five or
six times a day in order for it to grow at its maximum level.
There are many different types of weight training that you could do in order to build muscle fast but the quickest has got to be
high-intensity training, or HIT for short. Without going into too much detail, the way that you do this sort of training is by lifting in
single set routines about three times per week. Every single set that you do should have 10 to 12 repetitions and should be done to
failure. You should also be adding additional weight every time you do this routine if you are going to properly. Don't neglect
working on your largest muscles, your legs and core muscles.
The final key to the puzzle of how to build muscle fast is through getting plenty of rest. Not only will you be taking several days off
during the week, you should also make sure that you get a full night's sleep as that is when your body takes the time to recover the most.
If you try to lift too often, your efforts will be counterproductive and you won't gain much muscle at all.
One final thing is that you should not expect to gain muscle fast without putting on a little bit of weight as well. Once you have
gained the appropriate amount of muscle then you can go into a cutting phase where you try to lose the body fat that you put on during your
building phase. Continue to do this in cycles and you will soon find that your body is changing for the better very rapidly.
